A Teacher of Technology in Education

My name is Raffaela Grasso and I am a primary  ICT teacher of students aged 5-12 in Melbourne, Australia.

I have been teaching for over 20 years, and have always been passionate about using technology in my teaching.

Over the years I have worked on many projects that aim to increase student and teacher usage of technology in their learning and teaching.

It gives me great pleasure to see students filled with excitement and enthusiasm when using technology, creating unique computer art and collaborating together to learn, explore and share.

These students are our future leaders, we educators have a significant role to guide, support and nurture them to be the best they can be to lead our world in the future!!

I am always learning and my Professional Learning Network is my greatest Professional Learning.
‘as educators…it is not what we say….. but what we do….. that has the greatest impact on students ‘

Cheers Raff
Long life learner 🙂

  1. Hi Raffaela,

I was just doing some research on schools and using technology and stumbled across your blog. I have a feeling you taught me in year 3 at St Simons in 2000 (so long ago)!! Ms Whelan was also co-teaching the class.

My name is Sarah Saliba, it would be great to hear from you if this is you!

  2. Hi Raf,
Thanks for putting up your blog, I look forward to some insights and reflections.
